The material for the pen is made from high pressure injected acrylic. The acrylic blank is shaped on a lathe with chisels, then dry sanded to 3,200 grit sandpaper. The acrylic blank is then wet sanded to 12,000 grit sandpaper. The blank is then buffed on a cloth wheel with ultra-fine grit to remove scratches and add luster. Carnauba wax is then applied to the pen and buffed to protect the finish.
