Carcass is made from figured Babinga, an African hardwood. I have matched the grain pattern continuously through the entire carcass. Biscuits are used to reinforce the 45 degree miters, along with Maple splines. Drawers are made of Cherry with Wenge splines on the 45 degree miters. Drawers fronts are made of book matched Olivewood. Handles are made of Babinga. Each drawer is felt lined. The box is finished with 5 coats of natural Danish Oil, and hand rubbed with paste wax.
